These full-length courses offer at a variety of times/ dates to accommodate different schedules. All learning takes place in a classroom environment and skills are then practiced at our waterfront facility with certified American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors. Once you've completed one of our courses, you will be officially certified by the American Red Cross - one of the best-known names in the industry. Get ready to save some lives!
For those lifeguard candidates that have schedules too busy or complicated to commit to the full classroom experience and have the discipline for self-study, the Blended e-Learning Lifeguard class combines an online content delivery system with in-person skills and technique practice at our facility.
Web-based content delivery enables lifeguard candidates to study for certification at their own pace, as their schedule allows. Candidates come to in-water sessions to learn and practice the techniques. In-water sessions are offered on the last weekend of every month (Saturday and Sunday). Students are expected to commit to both days of the same weekend in order to complete their session. Students must show proof that the online portion of the lesson is complete before they will be permitted to attend the in-water skill session.
Candidates must successfully complete both the online and in-water skill session to be certified.
This module teaches additional lifesaving techniques geared towards lifeguarding lakefront facilities, rivers, open bodies of water, and even beaches. The course is intended for experienced lifeguards. Candidates should be prepared for a more physically intense certification. All tests (including the prerequisites) are more challenging and must be passed with confidence. The course teaches advanced tools and techniques for lifeguarding. If you are ready to advance your lifeguard certification and career this is certainly the next step. . Waterfront Lifeguarding is offered on an as-needed basis; to find out when the next class is offered, contact us today.
